It uses laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used to refill water, and customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to take care of the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy and does a good job of maneuvering around tight spaces. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has a good amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys,, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
